Farmers can get federal loans for drought recovery

On account of the recent drought, the federal government is offering low-interest loans to farmers in Christian, Todd and Trigg counties who need help recovering from losses in crops.

These counties and 23 others in Kentucky received the designation of “natural disaster area” on Thursday, according to a news release from the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
