PADUCAH, Ky. (AP) — A western Kentucky woman has pleaded guilty to complicity to kidnapping in the disappearance and death of a 21-year-old, leaving three others to face trial for murder and other charges.
Prosecutors recommended a 12-year sentence for 44-year-old Denise Taylor Marshall, provided she testifies against the remaining co-defendants, The Paducah Sun reported (http://bit.ly/rjmexe).
Marshall's brother, Mark Taylor, sister-in-law Jamie Taylor and niece Jasmine Taylor, all face trial in the death of CaSondra Evans of Lone Oak on Dec. 10. Sheriff Jon Hayden found her body the next day near Massac Creek, not far from the Taylors' home.
No trial date has been set. Prosecutors say they'll seek a death sentence if the trio is convicted of the most serious charges.
