A Hopkinsville woman was pulled over Sunday night at South Campbell and East Ninth streets on after police allegedly saw the woman’s child hanging out of the car in the rear passenger area.

According to a Hopkinsville police report, Jasmine N. Coleman, 25, drove through the intersection with the child not in a car seat or restrained in any way. Coleman said she had a glass of wine at dinner after the say they smelled alcohol on her breath.

After she took a Breathalyzer test at Christian County Jail, Coleman blew a .121 blood alcohol content. She was charged with first-degree wanton endangerment, aggravated DUI and failure to use a child restraint device. She is being held at Christian County Jail on a $5,000 bond.
