A local woman was arrested Wednesday for allegedly assaulting another Hopkinsville woman Saturday in three separate incidents.

According to a warrant signed by Christian District Judge Arnold Lynch, Ashley Bryant, 25, hit Krystal Mullinax, 36, with an aluminum can filled with carrots in one of the assaults, leaving Mullinax with cuts, bruises, hair torn out and a concussion. Bryant was taken to Jennie Stuart Medical Center.

Mullinax’s roommate, whose name was redacted, had to pull Bryant off Mullinax in all three of the assaults, the warrant states.

Bryant was charged with charged with second-degree assault and fourth-degree minor assault. She is being held in the Christian County Jail on a $10,000 bond.
