Three Hopkinsville residents were arrested this morning after police allegedly found materials for manufacturing methamphetamine in their car.

Lindsay M. Clan, 28; Billy J. Faughn,33; and Amanda N. Faughn, 26, each face numerous charges related to meth manufacturing. Clan also faces charges of driving with an invalid license.

An officer stopped the car Clan was driving after they received a report of a disturbance at the Kangaroo Express station on North Main Street, according to a

Hopkinsville police report. The officer noticed a folding knife and asked if he could put it in the vehicle’s trunk. After Billy Faughn consented, the officer opened the trunk and found ammonia and other items often used for cooking meth, according to the report.
