Services for Matthew Litchfield, 15, Pin Oak Drive will be at 1 p.m. Monday at Hillcrest Baptist Church with Greg Giltner officiating . Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Lamb Funeral Home and from noon until time of service Monday at the church.

He died at 6:10 p.m. Thursday Oct. 30, 2008 at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital, Nashville, Tenn., of  leukemia.

A native of Hopkinsville, he was born Aug. 3, 1993, the son of Jeff and Tricia Grace Litchfield.

He was a sophomore at Christian County High School.

He was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents survivors include, his sister, Hailey Litchfield, of the home; paternal grandmother, Helen Litchfield, Hopkinsville; maternal grandparents John and Joy Poe and Carroll Grace, all of Hopkinsville; a great-grandmother, Evelyn Foster, Hopkinsville.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Ronald McDonald House and Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital Oncology Department.
