Carrol “C.L.” Hubbard

Carrol “C.L.” Hubbard, 77, Hopkinsville, died at 7:23 a.m. Wednesday, July 11, 2018, at his home.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Staab Funeral Home in Springfield, Ill., with the Rev. Ken Morris officiating.

Burial will follow at Camp Butler National Cemetery where military honors will be conducted.

Visitation will be from 9:30 until 10:30 a.m. Monday at the funeral home.     

A native of St. Elmo, Ill., he was born Nov. 3, 1940, the son of the late Lewis and Mary O’Dell Hubbard.

He was a member of the Westview Assembly of God Church in Hopkinsville. He was a U.S. Navy veteran. He worked as a Senior Engineer at Johnson Controls.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Woodworth Hubbard; his children, Kent (Laurie) Hubbard, Auburn, Ill., Paula Hubbard, Rochester, Frank (Maryam) Miller, Camarillo, Calif., and Mike (Vicki) Miller, Mesa, Ariz.; his sister, Winona (Alan) Lipp, Merrillville, Ind.; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Disabled American Veterans or Westview Assembly of God Church in Hopkinsville.
