Services for James Howard Kissner, 86, North Main Street, will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Hughart and Beard Funeral Home, Hopkinsville, with the Rev. James O. Hazelrigg officiating.

Burial will be in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 tonight.

He died at 9:51 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 7, 2008, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center following a long illness.

A native of Clarksville, Tenn., he was born Nov. 28, 1922, the son of the late Edward M. Kissner Sr. and Mary Belle Hodge Kissner.

He had worked for Kentucky Liquor and Wine Co., Bardstown, and was a member of the Elks, Eagles and Moose lodges.

He was a member of Millbrooke Christian Church.

His wife, Mary Adelia Cunningham Kissner, died in 2007.

Survivors include a son, Howard Wayne Kissner, Westchester, Ohio; a daughter, Bobbi Kissner Wolfe, Hopkinsville; a sister, Dorothy Ward, Hopkinsville, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to B.P.O.E. Elks Lodge, Post Office Box 368, Hopkinsville, Ky., 42240.
