Members of the senior bowling league met Wednesday at the former Indian Hills Bowling alley to set up for their upcoming season which they hope will start next Wednesday.

The alley’s new name will be First Frame Bowling, which purchased the  building in June and since then has closed for renovations. Mike Monroe, the company’s owner, says he plans to open the lanes Tuesday.

During their meeting, Herb Mayfield, Cadiz, the league’s president for the last three years, announced he will no longer be able to fulfill his commitment as president due to health problems.

The group voted in a new president, Bud Merren, Hopkinsville, and a new secretary, Paula Ramey, Hopkinsville. The rest of the meeting consisted of going over the rules and confirming the teams and their captains.

So far the league has nine teams of four people each, but they are hoping to add more. Anyone fifty years and older is invited to join the senior league.
