Attucks Wolfpack goes unbeaten in Murray

The 13U Attucks Wolfpack basketball team was undefeated at Murray State’s AAU basketball tournament held on campus March 23-25.

Team members included R.J. Wilson, Chandler Crist , Steven Cager, J’son Campbell, Jalen Johnson, Tyshawn Anthony, Cinque Hampton, Donterius Parker, Garrett Hopper, C.J. Henagan and Tyrik Wilson. The team was coached by Darrell Johnson.

Tryouts for Ky. All-Star team to begin April 21

Tryouts for the Kentucky All-Star basketball teams have been set for April 21 and April 22 The try-outs will be conducted for the Girls on Saturday, April 21st and Boys on Sunday, April 22nd.

The boys who have been invited to try out for the Kentucky team include Jake Griffin (Muhlenberg County), Donovan Halsel (Warren Central), Isaiah Ivey (Scott County), Jay Johnson (Woodford County), Twin Lancaster (Logan County), Jagos Lasic (Morgan County), Derek Lawson (West Carter), Tamron Manning (Scott Conty), Mekale McKay (Moore), Aaron Murray (Ballard), Anthony Myrks (Bardstown), Cole Nelson (Marshall County), Jaysean Paige (Perry County Central), Dontell Rice (Holmes), Devan Rowan (North Oldham), Jermaine Rutley (North Hardin), Jacob Scott (Webster County), Kyle Sheeran (LaRue County), Bopper Stenzel (George Rogers Clark), Brian Stone (Collins), Jeril Taylor (PRP), Mike Terry (Fairview), D.J. Townsend (Rowan County), Tyler Wesley (Oldham County), Sawyer Williams (Owen County) and Adam Wing (Rowan County).

The 12-member Kentucky All-Star Team will play the Indiana All-Star Team on June 8 at Freedom Hall in Louisville and June 11th at Bankers Life Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.
