Voters can cast their ballot at from Wednesday through June 15. Everyone who participates in the online voting can register to win an Apple iPhone.

All of the photos in the contest were taken in Christian County between Oct. 30 and May 30. There have been 145 entries received.

The photos will also be judged by a group of professional photographers and photojournalism professors selected by the New Era.

There are two categories of photos. The first, “Where We’ve Been,” includes photos with historical elements that have defined the Hopkinsville and Christian County communities. In the second, “Where We’re Going,” the photographer attempts to catch a glimpse of the future of the community.
