Melinda Neathery, 59, Elkton, died at 2:49 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 13, 2020 at the Medical Center in Bowling Green of natural causes.

Funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Rose Chapel of the Todd County Funeral Home with the Rev. Donnie Blick officiating. Interment to follow at Glennwood Cemetery in Elkton.

Visitation will be from noon until the service hour Sunday at the funeral home.

A native of Hopkinsville, she was born Jan. 11, 1961, the daughter of Mildred Epley McInctosh, Russellville, and the late William Lynch.

She was a member of the New Union Baptist Church.

In addition to her father, she was preceded by her stepfather, Wayne McIntosh, and step sister Judy Collins.

In addition to her mother, survivors

include her life partner, Nelson Carrender, Elkton; her son, Joey Neathery, Elkton; her brother, Mark Allen (Brittany) Lynch, Russellville; her sister, Shelia (Moe) Hazel, Auburn; and step brother Randy McIntosh.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family or funeral home to assist with funeral expense.
