What do you consider your greatest accomplishments?

On a personal level, I'm most proud of my time spent mentoring and coaching children through the Elkton-Todd County park.  On the professional level, I'm most proud of how accessible that I am and that I strive to be to my clients and members of my community.

What are the two biggest problems facing the community/county?

1) Our biggest problem, remains illegal substance abuse and the crimes that are related to illegal substances such as theft and assaults.  I plan to address this by seeking harsher sentences for repeat offenders, and by insisting upon active employment as a condition of probation for first time offenders.

2) Another problem facing our county, are delinquent taxes.  I plan to be more proactive in enforcing the obligations that we all share as members of this community.

What are your biggest campaign issues/goals?

1) The litigation involving the Todd County airport.  I fully believe that the litigation involving the local airport could have been avoided by better research and dialogue prior to the initiation of a lawsuit.  This litigation has cost Todd Countians thousands of dollars and I cannot see that any benefit will ever be seen by Todd County as a result.

2)  I would also like to explore ways to save our law enforcement officers from needless court appearances.  Currently, our officers are called to court every time a case of theirs' is on the docket whether their appearance is necessary or not.  An officer who has worked a midnight shift should not have to come to court just to find that his/her appearance wasn't necessary.

Why should someone vote for you?

Vote for me because I love this community and I returned to Todd County to raise my family. I am determined to do all that I can to make this a community that our children will one day also want to return to in order to raise their own children.
