The Trigg County Public Library Board of Trustees has issued a complete onsite shutdown of the library, but the facility will continue using social media such as Facetime Live Storytime on Facebook for programming and services. Watch for new or improved ways to still access programs online at www.jlslibrary.org.

The Trigg County Senior Center offers lunch daily from 11:30 a.m. to noon: First and third Tuesday; dancing from 6:30-8:30 p.m.; Wednesdays Bible Study 9:30 a.m.; Thursdays blood pressure checks at 10 a.m. The exercise room is open daily from 8 a.m.-4 p.m. The center offers a walking program designed for healthy living, “Walking with Ease.” For a complete listing of calendar events, call the center at 270-522-8341. The Trigg County Senior Center is located on Joy Drive in Cadiz. If interested in lunch, call the center for daily menu and to let them know you plan to attend. Please note: All in person activities are cancelled until the center reopens. The senior center is offering meals to go and also delivering meals daily beginning at 11:30 a.m.

Helping Hands Bargain Barn & Clothes Closet is open from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays and first and third Saturdays. The Bargain Barn is located at 84 Jefferson St. in Cadiz. Donations are welcome and all proceeds stay in Trigg County. For more information, call Kathy at 256-655-2142.

Bicentennial Lapel Pin exchange continues. Look online at www.trigg2020.org for a full list of participating businesses and organizations to get started collecting pins.

St. Luke Free Clinic, which serves Christian, Todd and Trigg counties is hosting a Color Run fundraiser at 10 a.m. April 25 starting at the rail trail entrance at 450 North Drive, Hopkinsville. People of all ages to run, walk, or cartwheel and be doused with colored powder at locations along the trail. (Powder is made of cornstarch and is safe and environmentally friendly.) Sign up at St. Luke Free Clinic, 408 W. 17th St., Hopkinsville or go to the St. Luke Free Clinic of Hopkinsville Facebook page and click the Eventbrite link. If you have questions call 270-889-9340.
