Roses Express hosted its soft opening Thursday on Main Street in Cadiz.
The store sits in the old Fred’s building next to the Cadiz Fire Department.
Jeanie Catron, general manager, said they are excited to be open in Cadiz and ready to serve the community.
“I am from Hopkinsville and visit Cadiz a lot,” Catron said. “I am excited for the opportunity to be here and I know that the community is excited for us to be here.”
Roses Express was given the key to the city by Cadiz Mayor Todd King and Cadiz Main Street Director Casey Parrent before the store officially opened at 9 a.m. Thursday.
Catron said the store offers everything from food items to clothes to outdoor furniture and pet supplies.
“It’s essential items,” Catron said. “A little of everything that you need for your home.”
The grand opening for the store will be July 30.
Roses Express is open from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from noon to 6 p.m. Sunday.
