Trigg County Special Olympics teams advances to state tournament

The Trigg County Special Olympics basketball team will advance to the state championship tournament in March.

Trigg County Special Olympics basketball team competed in the regional tournament in Bowling Green.

The Wildcats beat Barren County 25-19 in their first game, followed by a 29-19 victory over Christian County. The wins make them the Region 1B division champions.

The Wildcats finished out their regular season with a record of 8-3. The team will be back in action at the state tournament March 13-15 in Louisville.
