“Reading should not be presented to children as a chore or duty. It should be offered to them as a precious gift.”

— Kate DiCamillo

Pam’s Pick this week is: “The Other Emily” by Dean Koontz, the story of lost love and impossible second chances. Emily vanished 10 years ago after her car broke down on the highway. She was thought to be the victim of Ronny Lee Jessup, a known serial killer. Emily’s boyfriend David is still having a hard time going on with his life. He visits Jessup in prison to find out where her body was buried. When David meets Maddison he becomes obsessed with her.
