• Trigg County 4-H’ers will be doing a ham show and exhibits Oct. 7-9 at the Lexie Bush Convention Center in Cadiz. Drop offs will be on Oct. 6. Ham judging will be the morning of Oct. 7. The exhibits will be open to the public with COVID-19 guidelines from noon to 5 p.m. Oct. 7 and from 8 a.m. until 6 p.m. Oct. 8.

• The Friends of Land Between the Lakes is in search of volunteers for the Elk and Bison Prairie as well as other activities in the recreation area. The Friends of LBL’s Bugle Corps volunteer group helps Land Between the Lakes wildlife managers with the Elk and Bison Prairie by monitoring the animals’ health, interacting with visitors, monitoring visitor safety and answering questions from the public.

In addition to the Bugle Corps, the Friends of LBL continues to offer volunteer opportunities such as litter cleanup, trail assistance and more.

The Trigg County Senior Center is located on Joy Drive in Cadiz. If interested in lunch, call the center for the daily menu and to let them know you plan to attend. Please note: all in person activities are cancelled until the center reopens. The Senior center is offering meals to go and also delivering meals daily beginning at 11:30am.

{p dir=”ltr”}•The Cadiz United Methodist Church offers free aerobic classes from 4:30-6 p.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays. Participants are asked to bring a mat, water and some hand weights to participate. The church is located at 482 Lakota Drive.
