Christian Scouting Programs

The Way Christian Youth Center, 197 Lafayette St. (behind Trigg Schools Campus), will be hosting a scouting organizational meeting at 7 p.m. Nov. 30. Purpose of the meeting will be to determine leadership interest in starting Christian scouting programs for ages 5-18. “Trail Life USA” (boys) and “American Heritage Girls” are nationwide programs with an enrollment of over 80,000 youth. Regional representatives will be in attendance to explain programs and answer questions. Social distancing will be observed and wearing of masks encouraged.

Christian adults are also needed for administrative and leadership roles. For meeting information, call 270-498-1933.

Senior Walking Trail

The Way Christian Youth Center’s Gym, 197 Lafayette St., (behind Trigg Schools Campus) is open to senior citizens for walking and fellowship from 9 a.m. until noon on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Social distancing is observed and wearing of masks encouraged. For more information call Ann at 270-522-4955.
