Smith commits to MSU Presidential Fellowship

Trigg County High School senior Matthew Smith (center) signs his commitment to the MSU Presidential Fellowship on a virtual zoom meeting Saturday with Murray State University. The Presidential Fellowship is a full-ride scholarship that covers tuition, housing and meals up to eight semesters. Fellow must be in the MSU Honors College and must complete five hours of undergraduate research under the guidance of a faculty mentor for each week of the term of the Fellowship. Participating in the virtual signing ceremony was Dr. Robert Jackson, President of Murray State University, Dr. Warren Edminster, director of the Honors College and Dr. David Gibson, Presidential Fellows coordinator.
