Frances “Pat” Wyatt, 95

Frances “Pat” Wyatt, 95, Hopkinsville, died at 7:50 a.m. Friday, May 29, 2020, at Christian Health Center in Hopkinsville of natural causes.

Graveside services were held at noon Monday, June 1, 2020, at Delmont Cemetery in Cadiz with the Rev. John Mitchell officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home Inc., 138 Main St. in Cadiz.

A native of Hopkinsville, she was born May 24, 1925, the daughter of the late Charles Alpha Johnson and Rosie Lee Sowell Johnson.

She was a homemaker who spent much of her time quilting, which she found her love for at the age of 15. She was a longtime member of Delmont Baptist Church where she had served as a Sunday school teacher and sang in the choir.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Sewall Wyatt; brother, Eugene Johnson; her sisters, Notra Grigsby, Justine Vowell and Gladys Johnson.

Survivors include her niece/caretaker, Pam (Bruce) Glover, Hopkinsville; her brother, Charles “Chuck” (Jane) Johnson, Killen, Alabama; and three sisters, Sylvia Oliver, Marion, Robbie Dell Wolfe, Wichita Falls, Texas, and Kay (Danny) Gregory, Franklin; several nieces and nephews.
