Paulette Frances (Rumage) Anderson, 73, Cadiz, formerly of Evansville, Indiana, died Thursday, July 2, 2020, at her home.

A Celebration of Life service will be at noon July 18 at Cadiz United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until noon July 18 at the church. Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home.

Born Dec. 30, 1946, in Evansville, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Catherine (Kaelin) Rumage. She was employed by Pennyroyal Hospice in Hopkinsville, where she was the volunteer coordinator for the past 13 years. She had also been a hospice volunteer for 17 years and volunteered for many other organizations including the Crisis Line, Genesis Express, The Way, Kamp Sunrise and her church, Cadiz United Methodist, where she was in the choir and where she poured her love and talent into so many different activities. She had a heart for God and cherished her family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Michele Diane Marx, granddaughter, April Dawn Hamilton, two brothers, Joseph and James Rumage, and two sisters, Irene Kaiser and Mary Rose Rumage.

She is survived by her husband of 47 years, Ronald “Ron” Anderson of Cadiz; four daughters, Elizabeth (John) Greenwell of Newburgh, IN, Rhonda Anderson Oare of Ft. Johnson, NY, Lisa (Darryl) Decker of Amsterdam, NY, and Stacey Anderson of Evansville, IN; nine grandchildren, Jordan Tuley, Michele Greenwell, Robbie Oare, Casey Elrod, Emilly Markes, Jacob Elrod, Shane Miles, Billy Miles, and Kassie Moore; twelve great-grandchildren, Tyler, Oretta, Joey, Scarlett, Owen, Adalyn, Ellie, Swaiden, Rene’lynn, Ariah, Drayven and Eli; one brother, John (Judy) Rumage of Madison, IN; five sisters, Catherine Dorothy Beaven of Fenton, MO, Jeri Kempf and Jenny Grose, both of Evansville, IN, Barbara (Howard) Heneisen of Eureka, MO and Delores (John) Alber of Apalachicola, FL.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Pennyroyal Hospice or to Cadiz United Methodist Church.
