Gerald Dan Turner, 79, Cadiz, died Sunday, July 5, 2020 at Trigg County Hospital.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, July 10, 2020 at King’s Funeral Home with the Revs. Brad Chalfin and Paul Cannon officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will begin at 5 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

A native of Trigg County, he was born July 8, 1940, son of the late Herman Taft Turner and Myrtie Taylor Turner. He was a retired construction superintendent and a member of Canton Baptist Church where he served as a deacon. He sang bass with the Jubilee Quartet and most recently Southern Tradition. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Jewel Turner and a son, Danny Turner.

Survivors include a daughter, Susan Turner (Blake) Mull, Franklin, TN; a sister, Ann Rutherford, Ashland City, TN; and two grandchildren, Turner Blake Mull and Hayley Seaton Mull, both of Nashville.
