Marilyn Stinson, 73

Marilyn Stinson, 73, of Eddyville, Kentucky, passed away Monday, July 6, 2020, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville.

A graveside memorial service was held on Monday, July 13, 2020, at Fairview Cemetery, 1209 Fairview Ave., Bowling Green, Kentucky 42103, with the Rev. Jamus Redd officiating. Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. in Cadiz, Kentucky.

Born July 15, 1946, in Russellville, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late John and Charlyne (Ford) Graham.

Marliyn had been employed by the Trigg County Sheriff’s Office. In her free time, she enjoyed attending football games, watching the sporting events of her sons and grandchildren, and tending to the wildlife and other animals on their family farm. Most of all, she loved spoiling her grandchildren that lovingly knew her as “Granny.” She was also a member of Bethel United Methodist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, J.T. Graham.

She is survived by her husband, Albert Stinson of Eddyville; two sons, David (Lori Schwartz) Stinson of Eddyville and Robert (Brooke) Stinson of Lexington; and three grandchildren, Landon, Bo and Riley Stinson.
