Elliott Price Irvin, 87, died Thursday, March 11, 2021 at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, March 19, 2021 at Gamble Funeral Home with the Rev. E.A. Brown Sr. officiating. Burial will be in Rocky Ridge Baptist Church Cemetery, Cadiz. There will be a walk thru visitation at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Gamble Funeral Home.

A native of Trigg County, he was born Dec. 18, 1933, son of the late Frank and Bertha Mayes Irvin.

Elliott was a member of Bloomfield Baptist Church He was a retired arch welder from Johnson Control and also a farmer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his two wives, Hazel Mae Kirby and Doris Cecelia Bingham; eight siblings, Marjorie Irvin, Ann Hendrix, Hewell Gude, Augusta Grubbs, Martha Boyd, Mary Lucille Ramsey, Frank Irvin Jr. and Molley Crump.

Survivors include his children, Gerald (Regina) Merriweather, Augusta, Ga.; Gregory Irvin, Chicago; Sanford (Marcia) Irvin, Bowling Green; Christopher Irvin, Pricetta Boyd, Corkey (Janice) Irvin and Preshion (Loretta) Irvin, Cadiz; 24 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
