Jim Bealmear, age 71, of Cadiz, Kentucky, passed away Wednesday, May 26, 2021, at his home.
Born January 18, 1950, in Sturgis, Kentucky, he was the son of the late George W. and Una Belt Bealmear. He served in the United States Army National Guard. He worked for Hancocks Neighborhood Market until he retired. He was a long time employee of Washers IGA, formely known as the Ecomony Cee Bee. He was the store manager for P.N. Hirsch & Company when it came to Cadiz in 1974 and Lermans. He was married to the late Deanna Bealmear on September 3, 1971. He was an avid fisherman and loved rabbit hunting with his beagles.
He is survived by his daughter, Melissa Choate of Cadiz; granddaughter, Summer Choate; sister, Vickie Chewning; niece, Ashley Chewning; and bestfriends, Tommy Austin and Chris Washer.
Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main Street in Cadiz where the family will received friends Saturday, May 29, 2021. The Rev. Kevin Lee officiated. Burial will followed at the East End Cemetery in Cadiz, Kentucky.
