Gayle Trice Moore, 79, of Cadiz, passed away Thursday, December 9, 2021, at Shady Lawn Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Cadiz.

Born December 15, 1941, in Cadiz, he was the son of the late W.L. “Bill” Moore and Thelma Lee Marquess Moore. He worked as a truck driver for Bestway trucking company for many years and was also a painter. He loved going out on his boat fishing and enjoyed watching wrestling. Gayle was a member at Donaldson Creek Baptist Church in Cadiz.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Rev. Don Moore.

He is survived by his daughters, Stephanie (Bobby) King of Cadiz and Ashley Moore of Hopkinsville; three grandchildren, Josh King, Tori (Nick) Marlowe, Ashton (Tyler) Holder; four great grandchildren, Alyssa Howle, Mia Marlowe, Lyla Marlowe, Kyle Holder; sister-in-law, Edie Moore of Evansville, Ind.; nephew, Terry Don (Cindy) Moore; and special friends, Norris and Barbara Jean Futrell.

Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main Street in Cadiz, where the family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the funeral service hour of 1 p.m., Monday, December 13, 2021. Burial will follow at East End Cemetery in Cadiz.
