Anna Sue Rich, 86, of Cadiz, passed away Sunday, December 26, 2021, at Bradford Heights Health & Rehab in Hopkinsville.
Graveside services will be Monday, January 3, 2022, at 2 p.m. at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Clay with Rev. Kyle Noffsinger officiating. Burial will follow in the cemetery. Visitation will be on Monday, January 3, 2022 from 11 a.m. to noon at King’s Funeral Home.
Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Darrel Rich of Cadiz; son, Keith Rich (JoDee) of Cadiz; sisters, Norma Jean Chapman of Kuttawa and Linda Edmonson (Larry) of Eddyville; grandchildren, Shannon Twitchell (Christopher), Erin Chase (Steffon) and Kimberly Rich, great grandchildren, Gaven Rich-Leyvas, Logan Chase, Landon Chase and Seamus Twitchell.
Anna Sue Rich was born in Charleston on November 30, 1935, to William Orville “Doc” Brightman and Elva Graham Brightman. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her daughter, Karen Denise Rich; sister, Evadean Brightman and two brothers, Ben William Brightman and Orville Brightman, Jr.
Ms. Rich retired as the manager of the Payroll Department from Northrop Grumman Corporation in Hawthorne, Calif. She was a member of the Cadiz Baptist Church where she had been involved in the WMU and had been active in the Little River Baptist Association.
