Earl Deason, 87

Earl Deason, 87, Cadiz, died at 8 p.m. Monday, June 22, 2020, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center in Hopkinsville.

A native of Todd County, he was born Nov. 15, 1932, the son of the late Benjamin and Jennie Mae (West) Deason.

Having done excavating work for over 40 years and being the owner/operator at Deason Excavating in Christian County, he especially enjoyed his time spent

on his bulldozer. When he wasn’t working, he loved to spend his time fishing, hunting and exploring in LBL with his grandson, Charlie. Earl was a veteran of the United States Army, serving during the Korean War. He was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Oscar Deason and Jake Deason.

Survivors include his wife, Molly (Hamilton) Deason, Cadiz; his daughters Robin Noel, Hopkinsville, and Kylie Shaw, Cadiz; three grandchildren, Charlie Hamilton, Sophia Pizarro, and Mandi Meacham; and one great-grandchild, Shealynn Meacham.
