Sarah Crews Freeman, 86, Cadiz, died at 6:53 p.m. Sunday, May 17, 2020 at Princeton Health and Rehabilitation Center in Princeton, Kentucky, of natural causes.
There will be no services. Goodwin Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Born Sunday, Sept. 10, 1933, in Marion County, Florida, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Mary Eleanor (Lord) Crews.
She was retired from Southern Bell in Atlanta, where she worked as a telephone switchboard operator for many years. Sarah was a member of the United Daughters of the Confederacy and The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She enjoyed crocheting and gardening and especially loved seeing her beloved pecan trees flourish and grow.
Survivors are a son, Lee R. Freeman Jr., Ormond Beach, Florida, a daughter, Sarah “Cindy” (Donald) Bentley, Long Key, Florida; son-in-law, Daniel Thomas Reynolds, Cadiz; five grandchildren, Misty Ragan, Brandi (Shane) Halvorson, Vanita Reynolds, Cody (Amanda) Gibson and Jesse Gibson; 13 Great-grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; a brother, Ed (Ernestine) Crews, Chandler, Arizona.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lee Roy Freeman Sr.; a daughter, Bonnie Jean Reynolds; and a grandson, Casey LaRoy Reynolds.
