Steven Ray Boyd, 64, of Cadiz, Kentucky, passed away Thursday, Feb. 11, 2021, at Parkview Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Paducah, Kentucky.
There will be no services. Steve will be laid to rest at a later date in Siloam Church Cemetery in Trigg County. Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St., in Cadiz.
Born Oct. 10, 1956, in Cadiz, he was the son of the late Clarence A. Boyd and the late Millerdine Cherry Boyd.
Steve worked for many years as a Yuke dump truck driver for both Hopkinsville Stone and Reed Crushed Stone. He attended Siloam United Methodist Church and enjoyed hunting, throwing barbecues for family and friends and most especially spending time with his grandsons.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Ashley Boyd of Cadiz; two grandsons, Mason Boyd and Devin Boyd; and cousins, Pam Putty, Debbie Cowherd and Carolyn Burnam, all of Hopkinsville, Mark Burnam of Louisville and Darian Burnam of New Orleans, La., David Miller of Chellberg, Ind., and Diana Miller of Nashville, Tenn.
