Carolyn Sue Thomas Armstrong, 78, of Cerulean, Kentucky, passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2021, at her home.
Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St., in Cadiz. Graveside services were held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, April 5, 2021 at Cerulean Cemetery, with Bro. Ryan Scott officiating.
Born Nov. 19, 1942, in Louisville, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Henry Cullen Thomas and Sarah Elizabeth (Bridges) Thomas.
Carolyn Sue was a 1960 graduate of Trigg County High School and a long-time member of Bainbridge Grove Baptist Church in Cerulean. She was retired from the former International Shoe Company in Hopkinsville. She enjoyed arts and crafts, going to flea markets and attending gospel singings.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Gordon Armstrong; a brother, Howard Thomas; and two sisters, Margie Darnall and Ann Burrow.
She is survived by her son, George Kevin Armstrong of Cerulean; her daughter, Melissa (Homer) Davis of West Palm Beach, Fla.; six grandchildren, Calvin (Amy) Warren, Katie (Jason) Keeling, Bobby (Jena) Davis, Jackson Davis, Taylor Davis, and Miranda Davis; nine great-grandchildren, Landon Davis, Addelynn Keeling, Kohen Keeling, Brooklyn Keeling, Harlan Keeling, Oaklynn Keeling, Andlynn Keeling, Kallan Davis and Graham Davis; and a sister, Donna (Bobby) Blane of Hopkinsville.
