Scott Southwood, 70

Scott Southwood, 70, of Cadiz, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 5, 2021, at Ray and Kay Eckstein Hospice Care Center in Paducah.

There will be no services. Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. in Cadiz.

Born Oct. 9, 1950, in Seymour, Indiana, he was the son of the late Elwood and Effie East Southwood.

Scott was the owner of Lakeshore Boats and also worked as a salesman at Bowling Green Harley Davidson. Aside from his working career, both of these jobs aligned with his personal interest in motorcycles and boating. In his free time, he enjoyed hunting and fishing.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Mark Southwood and Larry East.

He is survived by a son, Kris Southwood of Hopkinsville; four grandchildren, Kara Southwood, Alyssa Southwood, Payton Southwood and Brenna Southwood; two brothers, Keith (Kathy) Southwood of San Diego, Calif. and Brad (Karen) East of St. Louis, Mo.; and two sisters, Gingie (Art) McQueen of Palm Coast, Fla. and Liz (Rod) Rhoad of Holland, Mich.
