Karen L. Kniaz, 73, of Cadiz, passed away Tuesday, Sept. 1, 2020, at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee.
There will be no services. Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. in Cadiz.
Born Aug. 16, 1947 in Hammond, Indiana, she was the daughter of the late John Earl and Jacqueline (Kilander) Osborn.
Karen worked for many years as a cashier for the Economy Cee Bee grocery store and later for Hancock’s Market in Cadiz. In her free time, she enjoyed volunteering at the school, making crafts, and going to Harrah’s for entertainment.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Kenneth “Timmy” Kniaz and a sister, Sandi Osborn.
She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Kenneth Kniaz of Cadiz; a daughter, Christine Kniaz (J.D.) Heffington of Oxford, Mississippi; a grandson, Cameron Chase Kniaz; a brother, John (Kathi) Osborn of Portage, Indiana; and two sisters, Margi (Terry) Borgman of Cincinnati, Ohio and Jackie Osborn of Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
