Charles William Kemp, 79, passed away on September 3, 2021, in Arlington, Texas.

He was born on July 4, 1942, in Clay to Wanda and Charles Kemp.

A visitation was held on Friday, September 10, 2021, at The First Christian Church in Arlington. Funeral services were held on Saturday, September 11, 2021, at the church. The burial followed at Shannon Rose Hill Cemetery.

Charles served proudly in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. He was a true patriot and loved his county. He graduated from the University of Evansville for his undergrad and graduated from the University of Dallas with his master’s degree in information systems.

He married the love of his life, Donna Jane Robertson on September 25, 1965, and together they had two daughters.

Charles is survived by his daughters, Heather Morrison and fiancé, Greg Hubbard, Shannon Kowalski and husband, Rob; brothers, Larry Kemp and wife, Peggy, Paul Kemp and wife, Deana, Joe Kemp and wife, Cindy; grandsons, Branson and wife, Shelby, Camden and girlfriend, Mallory, Simon, and Sutton; granddaughters, Emily, and Bethany; great grandson, Dayten.

He is preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years, Donna Jane (Robertson) Kemp; parents, Wanda, and Charles Kemp; and brother, Frank Douglas Kemp.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Boy Scouts Troop 396, 601 W. Pioneer Pkwy., Arlington, Tx 76010.
