Anne Hughes, 93, of Evansville, Ind., and formerly of Cadiz, passed away Saturday, January 8, 2022 at the Heritage Center in Evansville.

Funeral services for will be Wednesday, January 12, 2022 at noon at King’s Funeral Home with Rev. Norman Cotton officiating. Burial will follow in Springfield Memorial Gardens in Springfield, Tenn. Visitation will be on Wednesday, January 12, 2022, from 11 a.m. to noon at King’s Funeral Home.

Survivors include her daughter, Marilynn Hughes Blunck (Rex), of Francisco, Ind.; grandchildren, Jaime Lynn Scheller (Keith) of Evansville, Ind., and Bryan Andrew Blunck (Tabitha) of Vincennes, Ind.; great grandchildren, Andrew Charles Scheller of Evansville, Ind., and Tessa Nicole Blunck of Lake City, Fla. and a number of nieces and nephews.

Anne Hughes was born in Springfield, Tenn., on April 15, 1928, to Mary Frances Duff Rust. In addition to her mom she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Garner Hughes.

Ms. Hughes was a homemaker and a member of the Cadiz Baptist Church.
