Kenneth L. Calhoun, 56, of Cadiz, passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at his home in Cadiz.

Born May 10, 1965, in Trigg County, he was the son of the late Albert Calhoun and Ann Dunn Allen of Bumpus Mills, Tenn. He was a retired staff sergeant in the United States Army. He was married to Sherry Surgener Calhoun of Cadiz. Kenneth was an active member of the Combat Vets Motorcycle Association. He enjoyed riding horses and woodworking. He especially loved his “Momma” and enjoyed doing things for her.

In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Bennie Allen.

In addition to his mother and wife, he is survived by four sons, James Calhoun, Chris Rogers, Zack Calhoun, and Jonathan Calhoun, all of Cadiz; two daughters, Kristy Calhoun Stuckey and Marrissa Calhoun, both of Cadiz; two step-sons, Shawn Thompson of Cadiz and Robert Surgener of Washington, Ohio; step-daughter, Ozaleena Robertson of Cadiz; brother, Mike (Thelma) Calhoun of Cadiz; sister, Betty Calhoun Estes of Hopkinsville; four grandchildren, Kaialani Stuckey, Mikiya Stuckey, Malaki Stuckey, and Kingston Stuckey; step brother, David Allen of Dover, Tenn.; step-sister, Leslie (Carl) Wood of White House, Tenn.

Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main Street in Cadiz, where the family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 20, 2021. Funeral Service with full military honors will follow at Kentucky Veterans Cemetery West in Hopkinsville at 2 p.m.
