Larry G. Cook, 68

Larry G. Cook, 68, of Central City, Kentucky, formerly of Hopkinsville, passed away Saturday, March 6, 2021, at Heartford House in Owensboro, Kentucky.

There are no services planned at this time. Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St., in Cadiz.

Born Sept. 22, 1952, in Hopkinsville, he was the son of the late Roy Gardner Cook and Rosa Mae Childress Cook.

Larry worked for over 30 years for Flynn Enterprise in Hopkinsville, retiring as Foreman. He remained active in local sports ever since a young age, and he especially enjoyed watching Kentucky Wildcats basketball, as he was an avid fan. Larry was of the Baptist faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Josh Cook.

He is survived by a son, Bryan (Jessica) Leek of Hopkinsville; and two sisters, Donna Jean Parker and Linda (James) Baucum, both of Hopkinsville.
