Kenneth "Killer" Kniaz, 78

Kenneth “Killer” Kniaz, 78, of Cadiz, passed away Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2021, at his home in Cadiz.

Services will be private, with burial to be in Trigg Memory Acres. Arrangements are being handled by Goodwin Funeral Home, Inc., 138 Main St. in Cadiz.

Born Dec. 20, 1942, in Hammond, Indiana, he was the son of the late Joseph and Jean Kniaz.

He was a machinist and dedicated employee of Kentucky Machine and Engineering in Cadiz, having recently retired with more than 47 years of service. Outside of work, Kenneth kept busy working with his hands, always tinkering on things and taking on new projects, and especially growing his prized tomatoes. He

was a devoted and

loving husband, father and grandfather.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife of 51 years, Karen Kniaz, in 2020; and his son, Kenneth “Timmy” Kniaz, in 2003.

He is survived by his daughter, Christine (J.D.) Heffington of Oxford, Miss.; a grandson, Cameron Chase Kniaz; and a sister, Linda (Nick) Coros of Noblesville, Ind.
