Funeral services for 87-year-old Audrey Joan Pearcy, of Cadiz will be at 11 a.m. (today) Wednesday, July 15, 2020, at King’s Funeral Home with Pastor Kevin Deibert officiating.
She passed away Sunday, July 12, 2020 at Barkley Plantation in Cadiz.
Burial will follow in Green Hill Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 10 — 11 a.m. Wednesday (today) at King’s Funeral Home. King’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
She was born in Athens, Illinois, on July 3, 1933 to the late Erle and Mildred Kraeber Derry.
She was a retired documentation supervisor for Snap On Tools in Kenosha, Wisconsin. She was of the Protestant faith, a former art teacher and a quilter.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Carey Wayne Pearcy; two brothers, David Derry and Paul Derry; two sisters, Frances Hester, Ruth Majesky.
Survivors include stepsons, Patrick K. (Kathy) Pearcy, North Charleston, South Carolina; Timothy J. Pearcy, Cadiz; a sister, Alma (Richard) Tomlin, Athens, Alabama; three step-grandchildren: Cheryl Iley, South Carolina; Michael Pearcy, Florida; Christina Pearcy, Virginia; six step-great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
