Juanita McCraw Jones, 91, Cadiz, died Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at Bradford Heights Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.

Services will be private at McCraw Cemetery with Logan Murphy officiating. King’s Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

A native of Hopkinsville, she was born July 9, 1928, the daughter of the late Dan and Mavis Louise Mullen McCraw.

She was the owner of Veterans Cab Company in Hopkinsville from 1949 to 1971 and was a private sitter. She was a member of the Canton Baptist Church. She loved to sew, cook and attend church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Hugh E. Jones; two sons, Wesley Edwin Jones and Danny Hugh Jones; four brothers, James, Frank, Waddell and Jerry McCraw; and one sister, Marie Flood.

Survivors include daughters, Betty L. (Gary) Patterson, Louisville, Charlotte (Daryl) Skills, Hobart, Ill., Janice K. Davis and Terri L. Tatum, both of Hopkinsville; brothers, Bill (Marseille) McCraw, Sid (Billie) McCraw, David (Sharon) McCraw, Donnie (Kathy) McCraw, all of Cadiz; sisters, Doris June (Benny) Tooley, Linda (Donnie) Keller, Paulette (Bob) Harris, Reva Anderson, all of Cadiz; 10 grandchildren and a number of great-grandchildren.
