The Mark Peach era in Cadiz looked promising but has now come to a close.
After just one year at the helm of the Wildcats’ football program, Peach is headed northeast as he has accepted the head coaching position at Danville High School.
“Mark Peach is a class act, and I have been honored to get to know him over the last year,” Trigg County athletic director Matt Wilder said in a statement. “He will do great things in his position. The search for a new head coach to lead our program will begin immediately.”
Peach took over after Coby Lewis’ long tenure at the helm came to an end. Peach led the Wildcats to a 3-7 record in his only year in Cadiz and a first-round exit in the playoffs.
