Info: PACS-RSVP Trigg County will be collecting school supplies from 9 a.m. until 1 p.m. Aug. 1 outside the Fred’s store on Main Street in Cadiz. Pencils, markers, scissors, crayons, notebooks, folders, Kleenex, headphones, etc. will be accepted. Any supplies can also be dropped off with Jennifer at the Trigg County Senior Center.

Bluegrass at Burdoc music festival

Where: Burdoc Farms, Crofton.

Info: The second annual, three-day music festival will offer primitive camping and entertainment. Bands and performers include The Cleverlys, Russell Moore and IIIrd Tyme Out, NewTown, Turning Ground, NightFlyer, Mikaya Taylor and the Stephens Family Tradition. The kids zone will have face painting, yard games, chalk art and a splash play area. Camp site reservations are $10 for the weekend, including water. Info: This event is for kindergarten through 12th grade students in the Christian County Public Schools District. There will be free games, food, school supplies, entertainment and prizes. Registration will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Students must be registered to receive free school supplies. This event is completely free.
