The U.S. Army is preparing to undertake a nationwide enlistment incentive to hire 10,000 new Soldiers during Army National Hiring Days from June 30 to July 2.

This unprecedented virtual campaign is designed to showcase the U.S. Army’s 150 full-time and part-time career options, training, benefits and education to inspire individuals to consider military service in the Regular Army and Army Reserve.

We’ve created a special website for this event at Army recruiters will also be conducting 24-7 operations on social media sites like Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and others.

The global pandemic has slowed many of our recruiting efforts in traditional venues with the closing of high school and college campuses and the cancellation of many local events. However, we want to ensure young men and women know that the U.S. Army is still hiring. We have more than 150 jobs available to young men and women who qualify.

Many of these jobs, or what we call “Military Occupational Skills,” are directly correlated with well-paying, in-demand civilian positions. These jobs include positions working with computer maintenance and operation, serving as a cryptologic linguist and even operating unmanned drone aircraft. Of course, the traditional “ground pounding” jobs like Infantry, Armor and Field Artillery are still on the table as well. Besides practical experience, these jobs also offer documented skill training recognized by civilian trade organizations.

While they focus on different skills, each job has one thing in common: you’ll be a Soldier. You will learn how to discipline yourself, how to work as a team with others and how to persevere and overcome when challenges come your way.

You may also qualify for college tuition funds or cash bonuses. We offer up to $40,000 in bonuses or up to $65,000 in student loan repayment for those who qualify.

Enlist between now and July 2, you can potentially earn an extra $2,000 bonus or a four-year scholarship if you decide to join.

For those of you who don’t qualify, you can help by encouraging young people to look into these opportunities. You can host a local Army recruiter on your social media pages or link your page to the ongoing Army National Hiring Days promotion on Information will be updated each day on this site.

If you’re a veteran, share your Army story on your social media page and link to our site. Army veterans are key communicators in our communities and their stories are often inspiring to young men and women and their families who are considering enlistment.

You can use the hashtag #ArmyHiringDays for these posts.

Remember, we are all in this together! Today’s Army has shown its strength in a myriad of ways during the ongoing pandemic or dealing with domestic unrest. Our Army serves this nation by not only providing protection from those who would take away our freedoms but also by providing experience and job skills to help young men and women find themselves personally and professionally.

I hope you will join us. The future of our nation and your own future could be drastically changed. You can be part of the Army Team.
