The Pennyroyal Area Museum, locatedat 217 E. Ninth St., was originally constructed as a Post Office in 1914. Located across the street in the city's former downtownfire station is the Woody Winfree Fire Transportation Museum. The museum has a shop that features items with a "Pennyrile" connection.
