Christian County Head Start teachers Regina Moore, Kristin Jean-Paul, Dayna Maxie and Charmika Riley smile together Thursday at the drive-thru graduation they planned for their students from Classes K and L. All 34 of their students, except three, graduated to start kindergarten in the fall. “We usually use the multi-purpose room for graduation,” said Jean-Paul, who has been teaching at the school for five years. “We have the pomp and circumstance, we shake their hands, we take pictures. This year, each of them got a certificate to commemorate their accomplishment.” Maxie said some of the students “have been here for two to three years, and we didn’t want it to end with them not getting recognized.”
