Murray State co-ed

to student teach at CCHS

Victoria Mohon, a senior agricultural sciences with agricultural education certification major at Murray State University, is a student teacher at Christian County High School. She will be working with the students and teachers in the agricultural science and technology department and FFA for the next 14 weeks.

Mohon is working under Olivia Clark. After Mohon finishes student teaching, she will earn her Bachelor of Science degree in agricultural studies.

Local students were recently accepted to the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg.

Nicolas Galbreath and Audrey Self, both of Hopkinsville, and Lily Mosley, Elkton, were accepted to join the class of 2020.

At Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green, full-time students who earn a GPA between 3.4 and 3.79 earn the dean’s list designation, while those who earn a 3.8 to 4.0 GPA are on the president’s list.

Hopkinsville man graduates Army basic training

U.S. Army Pvt. Dequaveantez O. Johnson graduated from basic infantry training at Fort Jackson, S.C.

He is the son of Melissa C. Taylor, Hopkinsville. He is a 2015 graduate of Christian County High School.
