Three people had to be transported to the hospital for injuries following a two-vehicle collision at the intersection of Princeton Road and Eagle Way Bypass at around 5:35 p.m. Saturday, according to a Hopkinsville Police Department report.
Nancy Blake, 71, Hopkinsville, was driving north on Princeton Road approaching the intersection while Rachael Ramage, 36, Hopkinsville, was driving west on Eagle Way, the report said.
According to the report, Ramage continued through the intersection as she had a green light when she was struck by Blake’s vehicle in her driver’s side door.
Blake told officers that she believed she had a green light when she continued through the intersection, but also admitted to police that she may not have had a green light at the time, due to her not being able to accurately remember what happened, the report said.
Blake, Ramage and Ramage’s passenger, Michael Ramage, 53, Hopkinsville, were all transported to Jennie Stuart Health for treatment following the collision, the report added.
