Six people were injured in a two-vehicle collision at 5:50 p.m. Monday at East Ninth and South Main streets, according to a Hopkinsville Police Department report.
Michaela Flood, 25, Cadiz, was driving west on East Ninth while Angela Goodman, 36, Hopkinsville, was driving south on South Main before Goodman struck the rear right side of Flood’s vehicle, the report stated.
Flood told police that Goodman ran a red light prior to the collision. Goodman told officers that she thought her light was green prior to entering the intersection, according to the report.
Flood had five passengers in her vehicle who were all injured in the accident and were transported to Jennie Stuart Medical Center, the report added.
They were Timeka Poindexter, 22, Martaveious Malone, 21, Malaki Malone, 8 months, Josua Malone, 6, and Mia Malone, 5, all of Cadiz.
Goodman was also injured in the accident, the report said.
