The Oak Grove Tourism Commission is searching for a new performer after Randy Houser announced he would be cancelling his performance, according to a press release from Oak Grove Tourism Executive Director Traci Cunningham.

Cunningham said that due to a scheduling conflict Houser had to cancel his show.

“Mr. Houser has booked another project and cannot perform at Spring into Summer due to COVID-19 regulations put into place by said project,” Cunningham said in the release.

“Although we understand the situation Mr. Houser was put in, it will be very difficult to replace him with only five weeks left. Please be patient with us as we look for a new headlining artist and keep an eye out for the big announcement.”

Cunningham added in the release that while Oak Grove Tourism is confident it will find a replacement for Houser for the 13th Annual (Take 2) Spring into Summer Festival, the event will continue with or without a headlining artist.

“We will not let this set back keep us from having the greatest festival in Christian County, Kentucky,” Cunningham said in the release.

The festival is scheduled to take place Saturday, May 29 and Sunday, May 30. For more information regarding Spring into Summer, visit
